Contributing to its portability, the ADS-1700W offers both AC and USB power options along with the ability to save documents via wired USB connection or over Wi-Fi. The scanner has an optical resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, a maximum interpolated resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi, and 24-bit colour depth along with a quick scanning rate of up to 25 ppm. An integrated 20-sheet ADF also has a single-pass design to easily accommodate both single- and double-sided documents, and a dedicated card slot is featured for scanning plastic cards. It is rated with a daily duty cycle of 1000 sheets for longevity and features a micro-USB 3.0 connection. Additionally, the included software bundle comprises applications for image enhancement, OCR, document organization, and a variety of drivers and scanning utility programs.
